1What is the Cottage's History?
The Cottage was once a granary on an old farm complex going back to the early 1800s. The farm and hamlet was called Tre-Arthur, in fact it is where Trearddur Bay derived its name from in the late 1800s, Trearddur was previously called Towyn Capel or ‘Chapel in the Sand Dunes’.
2What are Check-in & Check-out Times?
CHECK-IN

This is from 15.00 Hrs / 3.00 pm on the arrival day booked. We may be a little flexible on this, provided that there are no departures from the night prior. Please check with us within a few days of your arrival date and when possible we will be happy to oblige.

CHECK-OUT

This is by 10.00 Hrs / 10.00 am on the departure day booked. We can be a little flexible on this, provided that there are no imminent new arrivals. Please check with us and when possible we will be happy to oblige.
3I Have Not Paid the Balance Yet
We respectfully request that all outstanding balances are settled at least six weeks prior to your arrival date. Failure to settle the balance may put your reservation at risk.
4Is There Parking?
There is ample parking to the front of the cottage and back (gravel area in front of stable block storage). Parking for 3 cars or 2 cars and boat up to 4m in length or Jet Ski.
5Can I Store Items I Take on Holiday
You also have access to storage space, number 6, ideal for storing bicycles, beach equipment, fishing, diving, golf equipment and drying wet suits. The high chair and a travel cot are also stored in the storage unit.
6Can I Take My Dog?
We are happy for 2 well behaved dogs to stay at our cottage. As you can see we are surrounded by fields of sheep so please ensure your dogs do not chase them. The garden, although fenced, is not completely closed in so be sure your dog does not stray or is kept on a lead if there is a risk of them running off. We ask that dogs remain downstairs and do not sit on the furniture. Please ensure that you pick up after your dogs and dispose of it appropriately. There is an additional charge of £10.00 per dog, per stay.
7What about Heating?
The house has central heating and constant hot water. There is also a Wood Burning (only) log fire.
8Do you have Wi-Fi?
There is a WiFi booster in the cottage and USB ports are available in sockets throughout. The Wi-Fi code is located within the information pack.
9What Kitchen Appliance are Available?
The kitchen equipment; microwave, dishwasher, washer / dryer, oven, hob should be easy to use but the appliance information is within this folder should you need it.
10Cleaning Services?
Holiday Ready, Holyhead, provides our cleaning services and is happy to support should you encounter any issues during your stay. The cottage should be ready for your arrival with fresh bedding and towels.
11What About Local Shops?
At the bottom of the lane, turn left and this takes you back toward the A55 but also a large shopping complex with various supermarkets and home stores. You will want for nothing! In addition, there is a Spar and a few other cafes and shops in Trearddur itself and Valley and Holyhead area also a short drive away with more shops, restaurants, and bars.
